John Proctor is the Villain is M&B’s first production of the 2023-2024 academic year! John Proctor is the Villain is set in a rural Georgia high school classroom in the midst of the Me-Too movement and questions traditional, classic literature teachings. The show is a powerful coming of age story that offers a modern spin on The Crucible, with themes of female friendship and empowerment, and the struggle to be heard in a system that does not support you.
