BUSINESS MANAGER
SCHOOL/YEAR: COL '23
PRONOUNS: SHE/HER/HERS
🎭  Favorite play or musical? “simply way too many, but the ~nichest~ one on my list is Merrily We Roll Along”

💙  Favorite Georgetown theater memory? “opening night of DBMOAF 2019! esp bc it was my freshman fall, i just felt so lucky to have found such a wonderful community, and i also felt pretty badass getting the water working for an audience after ~struggling~ during tech.

(for context, we had a pool on stage, and i was asst stage managing so i got the wonderful task of pumping all 120 gallons of water in and out of said pool every performance)

🔜  Goals for this year? “I think next year is going to be such a wonderful chance to strengthen and expand our community, and my biggest hope is that the season is able to deliver this in a full, exciting, and innovative way! really, i just absolutely cannot wait to welcome everyone back and be together in the space making art together, it's been way too long :')”

🎭  Favorite play or musical? “Falsettos”

💙 Favorite Georgetown theater memory? “Sleeping in Poulton”

🔜  Goals for this year? “To do safe, in-person theater!”

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT DIRECTOR
SCHOOL/YEAR: SFS '23
Pronouns: SHE/HER/HERS

🎭  Favorite play or musical? “Hard question! Hadestown? Hamilton? Heathers? more popular musicals that start with H?”

💙  Favorite Georgetown theater memory? “In the middle of the final performance of Firebringer our tree was knocked down and fell apart, and with just so much confidence our fearless director Maddy Rice sawed the tree into small bushes during intermission and made our set look marvelous. Never have I heard so much commotion on the SM headsets and been so massively impressed by the boldness, nay, hubris it took to just transform a tree into bushes during a show.”

🔜  Goals for this year? “I hope to reintegrate into in-person stuff as much as we can while maintaining the flexibility and care for everyone's wellbeing that came with this time.”

🎭  Favorite play or musical? “Melancholy Play by Sarah Ruhl is always on my mind, and I grew up watching and loving The Music Man, so it has a special place in my heart!”

💙  Favorite Georgetown theater memory? “It’s so hard to choose, but the dance party after the Hello Again midnight was pretty incredible. Oh, and the entirety of the Hedda Gabler process :)”

🔜  Goals for this year? “I want to grow M&B’s presence on campus, social media, and in the community so that more people can be welcomed into Poulton once we’re able to open the doors. We are so excited to connect with audiences again!”

💙  Favorite Georgetown theater memory? “Seeing everyone's makeup and costumes for the first time during the virtual production of Antigone last fall! And having my makeup compared to Lin Manuel Miranda (can provide photo if needed)”

🔜  Goals for this year? “That we are able to put on amazing shows (virtually and hopefully in-person!) and involve people that don't typically do theatre!”
